Srinivas Satya

Mr. Srinivas Satya is a well-regarded executive with a demonstrated track record in leadership, cross-functional, international, and team roles. He comes with over two decades of leadership experience spanning large organizations in general management, strategy, business development, product development, operations, sales, and finance.

He recently assumed the roles of Chief Supply Chain Officer and President of the components business at Tata Electronics. His efforts have been crucial in establishing the strategic footprint of electronic components in India by nurturing a local supplier ecosystem. Furthermore, he leads the Electronics component business unit at Tata Electronics, responsible for driving growth through both organic and inorganic means.

Mr. Srinivas Satya has been President and MD, Corporate Vice President at Applied Materials India since 2015. In January 2022, he also took on additional responsibility as General Manager, High Productivity Solutions. He started his professional journey with Applied Materials in 1996. In his last role, he was responsible for overall site management and organizational health, driving local ecosystems engagement, creating higher value for the company by increasing the leverage of cost-effective capacity, and enhancing the capability of the organization to better enable the company’s results. In a career spanning 27 years at Applied Materials, he has held various positions, including but not limited to VP – Business Development and Strategy, Chief of Staff; Senior Director – Downstream Group and Factory Operations; Senior Director – Global Financial Planning and Analysis; Directors – Mergers & Acquisitions.

Mr. Srinivas Satya believes in lifelong learning and has a BTech from IIT Madras, an MS from the University of Illinois, an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley, and an MSc from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
