Surésh Rajaraman

Surésh Rajaraman is the Executive Vice President and Head of Thin Films Business Unit at Merck Electronics. In this role, he actively drives the company’s global strategy and growth in thin film solutions and fosters innovation and collaboration with semiconductor customers and OEM partners. Dr. Rajaraman has over 25 years of experience working in the industry while residing in various regions, including the US, Taiwan and Germany. He holds a Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York, USA, as well as a master's degree in Polymers from the University of Madras, India. He has authored/coauthored 17 journal publications, 2 book chapters, and is named as inventor/coinventor on more than 25 patents.
