Presentation Title
Pioneering AI Enabled Fab
Abstract
Building a Semiconductor Fab demands substantial capital investment, exceeding USD 10 billion, along with high operational cost. In this highly capital-intensive and competitive semiconductor manufacturing industry, there’s a constant need to enhance productivity, improve yield, minimize cycle time, and reduce costs. Achieving such manufacturing productivity excellence through application of smart manufacturing presents a transformative opportunity to meet these challenges effectively and create significant competitive advantage.
Tata Electronics is set to lead this initiative by establishing India’s first AI-enabled semiconductor Fab. This state-of-the-art facility will utilise advanced factory automation, data analytics, and machine learning to achieve industry-leading factory efficiency in wafer fabrication – a complex process that comprise of hundreds of manufacturing steps.
This presentation will explore the smart manufacturing elements integral to the AI-enabled Fab and detail out some real-world applications of advanced technologies across the wafer fabrication process.
