Yoshiaki Yoshida

Yoshiaki Yoshida is Director, Chairperson of the Board of Advantest Corporation. A graduate of Yokohama National University, Faculty of Business Administration, Yoshida began his career in 1980 in the international department of Japan Leasing Corporation, where he spent time both in Japan and the U.S., ultimately being named General Manager of the company’s Nihonbashi Branch. With a solid background in business and finance, Yoshida joined Advantest Corporation in 1999 as the Director of Advantest Finance, Inc., and was soon named Representative Director of that group. Recognized for his exceptional business acumen and leadership abilities, 

Yoshida rose to Executive Officer of Advantest Corporation and then Executive Vice President of the Corporate Planning Group in 2008. With his career on an upward trajectory, he quickly ascended to Managing Executive Officer and Board Director, while holding EVP positions in the Corporate Relations Group and the Nanotechnology Group. In January of 2017, Yoshida became Representative Director, President and CEO of Advantest Corporation. Seven years later, in April 2024, Yoshida was appointed Chairperson of the Board , a position he holds to this day.

In addition to his position at Advantest, Yoshiaki Yoshida is currently a member of International Board of Directors of SEMI and Vice Chairman of SEAJ, Semiconductor Equipment Association of Japan.
