Anand Ramamoorthy

Anand Ramamoorthy is a technology executive with over two decades of global experience building high performance teams, introducing flagship products, scripting executable strategies, driving nonlinear business growth, and leading organizational transformation. Anand is currently VP & MD - Micron India and is responsible for engineering, operations, and sales. Under his leadership, Micron India scripted the story of the fastest headcount & competency ramp in the Indian semiconductor history, impacted over $15B of product revenue across mobile, automotive, data center and IOT/embedded markets while generating over 200+ patents. Prior to Micron, Anand was at Intel (and Intel security) heading their South Asia business for semiconductors and cybersecurity software; he incubated their mobile & tablet business and led the fastest growth in data center business in APAC. Prior to Intel, he was MD at Harman India.

Currently on the board of BoAT (A consumer electronics unicorn in India), Uniken (software leader in mobile app security) and Hexagon (global leader in digital reality solutions, combining sensor, software, and autonomous technologies), Anand is part of Telangana government’s investment council.

He speaks frequently in NASSCOM/CII/AMCHAM academia events and mentors’ entrepreneurs and was featured in CNBC (‘Young Turk’), NDTV & more. He is an alum of Harvard Business School (AMP) and IIT Roorkee.
